Alpha
The Alpha Course will be starting at St. Hilda's Church on January 21st, 2009 with a Celebration/Introduction Dinner followed by the first session of the course.
The world renowned course which provides a comfortable, non-threatening opportunity to explore the Christian faith will again be available free of charge at St. Hilda's in January - including an opportunity to get more information at the introduction dinner evening. The course will run for 11 consecutive evenings - from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Each evening consists of a supper (pot luck) followed by a video talk on various subjects such as "Who is Jesus?", How & Why do We Pray? Does God Heal Today? and concludes with a small group discussion.
Alpha has proven time and time again to be a truly enriching experience to millions of people worldwide including many who have attended the course at St. Hilda's over the last 10 years. Consider yourself welcome to attend the introduction evening. For more information, please call or email Gord & Doreen Clark at 416-991-8499

The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is a drop-in for the students of Blakelock High School, which is located just a few doors away. Each Friday during the school year, St. Hilda's Parish Hall is open from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm for the students to drop by during their lunch hour to have lunch, play games, talk to a volunteer or to go into the church to pray.
The Sanctuary is designed to: be an outreach into the community; offer a safe place to meet; be a place where physical and spiritual needs are met.
Thursday Open Door
