The Bible says that we are chosen by God and given a purpose. According to 1 Peter 2:9 it says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness in to his wonderful light”. This is God’s purpose for us. Often times we forget who we are and what God has done for us. Don’t compare yourself to others and don’t allow feelings of insecurity to rob you of your identity in Christ. It is important that we see ourselves the way God sees us and then live in obedience to Him. God knows who we really are. He loves us and created us for a purpose. In order to get a better understanding of our identity in Christ read through the following passages:<\/p>\n
