The outreach to 17 Stewart Street was a great success! We served a total of 60 people including 25 from St. Hilda’s. Everyone enjoyed the dinner and the fellowship. Thank you to Joan Towarnicki for coordinating this event and to her many helpers who made this evening a success.

We are excited to announce that we are presenting the course again with the Introductory Evening on Wed Apr 9 (6:30 to 8:00 pm) with the course commencing on Wed Apr 16 (6:30-8:45 sharp) and running for 11 consecutive Wednesdays finishing on Wed June 25
The Holy Spirit day will be Sat May 24- 9:00-3:30pm

Shrove Tuesday is coming up on March 4 – please join us for a Pancake Dinner. This year we will be having it at 17 Stewart Street in the Party Room from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Pancakes, sausages and fruit cocktail will be served, and a free-will offering will be taken. The sign-up sheet is at the back of the hall.
This will also be a wonderful outreach to the residents at 17 Stewart Street. If you are unable to attend but wish to make a donation to help defray the cost, please speak to Sharon or place an envelope in the offering marked Pancake Dinner. Hope to see you there!

As an extension of Vestry we are inviting you all to come together for a time of “prayer, fasting and planning” around looking at our future and including our ongoing theme of “Producing Fruit”. We hope to set aside Friday February 28 as a day of fasting, and will meet in Marian Hall that evening from 7 – 9 p.m., then meeting once again on Saturday March 1 from 9 a.m. – noon (once again in Marian Hall). Please plan to be a part of this special time of prayer, discernment and discussion.
ANGLICANS FOR LIFE

The ANGLICANS FOR LIFE Life Guide course begins Mon. Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. It will be held at King’s Collegiate and will continue for 8 weeks until March 31. There is no charge for this course. However, since manuals have to be prepared, please register for it. If you are interested in registering, please e-mail Rev. Mark McDermott today at j.mcdermott@cogeco.ca God willing, this course will repeat in the fall.
The MARCH FOR LIFE will be in Ottawa from May 6-9. Details will be forthcoming. We thank God for the gift of life.
